A Real Impact: The Wisdom & Wellness Expo

Our table display at the first-ever Wisdom & Wellness Expo for Barrow County, Georgia, showcased Bud’s memorial dog-paw paintingโ€”a gift from the Winder Animal Hospital staff shortly after his death in 2018.

Among forty-seven vendors, I stood as the only local author. The community responded with enthusiasm. Dozens of people entered our drawings, and the response kept flowing for days after the event as I contacted winners and delivered the final two prizes.

This marked our first major event since Covid-19 disrupted our world, and it succeeded beautifully. The Wisdom & Wellness Expo introduced my new book, The Holy Spiritโ€”Encounter Him and Find Power, Peace, and Joy, to eager readers. I also signed up several new subscribers for Finding Joy, my monthly newsletter.

Ms. Lee the winner of the author's door prize holds up the two books, Entering Adulthood, and Bud the Luckiest Dog in World. Ms. Lee has a great smile and is enjoying the Expo.
