My table display for the first-ever Wisdom & Wellness Expo for Barrow County, Georgia, included Bud’s memorial dog paw painting, given to us shortly after his death in 2018 by the staff of Winder Animal Hospital.

We were one of forty-seven vendors at the Wisdom & Wellness Expo, but the only local author. We received a large number of entries for our drawings, and it took me several days to contact and deliver the last two prizes, while other prize winners were still in the building when their names were drawn.

It was our first event since Covid-19, and a success as it gave me some recognition with the new book, The Holy Spirit – Encounter Him and Find Power, Peace, and Joy. Also, I picked several new subscribers for Finding Joy, my monthly newsletter.

Ms. Lee the winner of the author's door prize holds up the two books, Entering Adulthood, and Bud the Luckiest Dog in World. Ms. Lee has a great smile and is enjoying the Expo.
