Glenda’s Story

Glenda and her husband, David, live in a one-hundred-year-old farmhouse outside Athens, Georgia. She is known among her close-knit circle for her hospitality, wit, reliability, honesty, and kind heart.

A few short years ago, Glenda bid farewell to a career in office management. However, during those years, she refined her organizational skills, learned the value of perseverance, and won several awards. 

With a heart as warm as her farmhouse kitchen, she embraces a life filled with the simple joys of cooking, growing herbs, and crafting homemade jams and jellies. Everyone knows that if she’s not in the kitchen or garden, you can find her writing or studying. 

Now, she writes about her journey from bitterness and anger to peace and joy.

 

A connoisseur of glassware

Her collection boasts antique bottles spanning several decades. Some of which were discovered on their farm. Yet her unique display of broken glass captures the essence of her eclectic tastes. Showcased in clear glass containers like vibrant memories frozen in time. She has gathered these fragments from around the farm for over thirty years.

The journey

Glenda’s journey is a testament to the power of the Holy Spirit’s work in her life. Her writing is a beacon of hope, as she shares her quest for inner healing and joy. Inspired by her own experiences of overcoming past traumas and finding solace, Glenda’s journey is one of inspiration and hope.

She writes to give hope

Now, she writes to help others find joy on the other side of their pain, affirming that joy is not merely a destination but a journey within reach. She shares that the Immanuel Approach is a beautiful healing method, one that the Holy Spirit highlighted for her to share.

Glenda’s commitment to uplifting others is unwavering. She is currently immersed in her latest literary project, “The Holy Spirit: Encounter Him and Find Power, Peace, and Joy!” Scheduled for release in early 2026, this book promises to be a beacon of hope for those seeking a way to find peace and joy. The anticipation for this book is palpable, and it is sure to be a source of inspiration for many.

Sharing her testimony and Journey

Glenda’s dedication to sharing her journey and insights is a testament to her unwavering belief in the power of the Holy Spirit to uplift others. This belief is what makes each reader feel connected and valued, knowing that they are part of a community that shares this belief and is committed to uplifting others.

Still learning and growing

Glenda is a member of several communities where she finds camaraderie and support. Having completed 10 years of  Bible Study Fellowship, she took a break this year to work on the book.

She discovered the Immanuel Approach through Face-to-Face Ministrieswhich continues to grow and evolve as they train heart healers in the Immanuel Approach. She has been a member of Intercessors for America since the 1970s. But Author Media is where she is learning about marketing for her newest book.
